Day 1: Laguna 69 Trek Itinerary
From an early and promising start between 9:00 and 9:30 AM, the day unfolds with a pick-up service at your hotel in Huaraz. The day comes to life with the departure towards the majestic Cordillera Blanca, where the excitement of adventure takes shape. A stop in Catac offers Mate de Coca, a prelude to exploration in the Carpa sector of Huascarán National Park and its fascinating Puma Pampa Carbonated Water Spring. The “Boca de Puma” is revealed in the Pumapashimi Lagoon, followed by the Puyas de Raimondi that adorn the journey.
History takes center stage in the 12,000-year-old cave paintings, before reaching the foot of the Nevado de Pastoruri, 5,100 meters above sea level, where the glacier dazzles with its beauty. After this impressive experience, the return to the city of Catac allows you to enjoy lunch on your own, and then culminate the journey with the return to Huaraz at 6:00 PM, carrying with you the wonder of the Cordillera Blanca.
